The rules of using AvoTimer

1. Using AvoTimer

You may use AvoTimer for your personal or professional productivity, subject to these Terms and applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it.

2. Accounts & access

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abuse, fraud, or other harmful behavior.

3. Subscriptions & payments

Some parts of the Service may require a paid subscription ("Pro" or similar). Payments are processed securely via Stripe or another payment provider.

• Subscription prices, features, and billing periods will be displayed before you confirm payment.
• Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription via the billing portal or by contacting us.
• Any refunds are handled at our discretion and in line with applicable laws.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access source code beyond what is allowed by law.
• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Use automated systems or bots to excessively scrape or abuse the Service.

5. Intellectual property

AvoTimer, including its name, logo, design, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain all rights to your own content and data (such as your session history), subject to the rights we need to operate the Service and provide you with features like stats and sync.

6. Availability & changes

We aim to keep AvoTimer available and reliable, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, for example to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AvoTimer and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you use the free version, zero).

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in your country of residence or, where required, the laws of another relevant jurisdiction. You should update this section in consultation with a lawyer to reflect the appropriate governing law and venue.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may notify you by email or within the app. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
